We have launched our Smartix electronic queue at «Petrovich» building trade store — the largest Russian retailer in the category of goods for construction and repair. Now all customer flows are directed for service through a modern automated complex.
«Petrovich» includes a network of 20 trade and construction centers in St. Petersburg, Moscow, North-West and Central federal districts with an assortment of over 30 thousand products. One of the top 10 largest online stores in Russia.
Smartix electronic queue was chosen as a replacement for the existing solution based on 1C platform. The previous software had difficulties with adding new functionality, did not meet the requirements for flexibility and functionality. An additional disadvantage was the need to physically install a copy of the Electronic queue application in each store, as well as the complexity of administration processes.
The customer also used a voice service based on a human speaker, which was expensive and difficult to edit and adapt for changing business processes.
Smartix is a web-based application that allows employees to use the Electronic queue on any device (PC, smartphone, tablet) without installing client programs. Personnel are no longer required to be strictly at the workplace. Employees can move around with a tablet or smartphone, work with a queue and simultaneously advise clients anywhere in the office.
The ticket kiosks of the electronic queue in «Petrovich» offer customers the services of buying, receiving, returning goods, professional settlement with an expert, issuing a loyalty card, receiving gifts, renting tools, obtaining a deposit, general consultations and more. User can also choose a manager for a personal service or take a ticket to the manager.
Ticket kiosks and electronic displays interfaces are customized and branded according to customer requirements. «Petrovich» requested a basic interface that was deployed at the pilot launch stage.
All branches are connected to a single centralized server, serviced by qualified specialists. Provided maximum reliability of the solution and reduced administration costs.
«Petrovich» uses our own speech synthesis service to deploy a voice assistant in the Smartix electronic queue system. The solution is based on the modern Google Text-to-Speech service. Allows to receive mp3 voice messages in real time or pre-create a cache from audio files. System ownership costs are significantly reduced. Editing the sound functionality of the voice assistant is simplified.
Based on the results of the pilot launch of the Electronic queue, «Petrovich» intends to implement the Smartix mobile application to reduce the time for unloading and receiving goods at warehouses and distribution centers. Solution automates the queuing of the truck by the driver at the selected gate. The application will also allow drivers to view data on the queue in online mode, receive SMS/Push notifications about the possibility of entry for unloading.
Our system allows «Petrovich» to automate customer flows based on modern technologies.
